The 10-zone ticket is the hourly pass that can be purchased in advance. This ticket can be used by one or more persons for trips across one or several zones in the entire Federal Province of Styria – of course, for all means of public transport, be it train, bus or tramway. Simply validate the number of fields you need before you begin to travel.

This ticket must be bought in advance and cannot be purchased on the means of transport directly (tobacconist shops, railway stations, Mobil Zentral). Adults pay the full price of € 16.70 for the 10-zone ticket while children (i.e. up to the age of 15) pay a reduced fare of € 8.40. Travelling with this ticket is cheaper than with single hourly passes.

Validate the 10-zone ticket properly. Since the 10-zone ticket is a multi-functional ticket for travel across the entire Province of Styria and which can be used by one or several persons at the same time, correct validation is particularly important:

1. Begin with the field showing the lowest number and always validate in the direction of the arrow, i.e. from left to right. Count the number of fields you need and fold back the fields you do not need.
2. Now insert the ticket into the validator with the fields you need facing up in the direction of the arrow until the bell rings.
3. The validator has then validated all fields with the lower numbers. Repeat this process for every additional person.
