Taking along children, dogs and luggage

Children
Up to the age of 6, accompanied children travel for free in public transport. Up to the age of 15, children pay half-price for hourly passes, 24-hour passes and 10-zone tickets.

Dogs
Dogs and other small animals travel for free is transported in an appropriate container. Hourly passes, 10-zone passes and 24-hour passes must be validated for large dogs.

Luggage
Luggage and baby carriages can be taken along for free.

Ticket Inspections
It actually does not pay to travel without a ticket. If you are caught without a valid ticket, € 60.00 are payable – either immediately or within three days using a bank payment form.
